Kampala (Uganda), October 11, 2023 (SPS) – The Member of the National Secretariat, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Mohammed Sidati, participated in the celebration of the National Day of the Republic of Uganda in the presence of a number of senior officials and members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Uganda.

At the request of the President of the Republic of Uganda, Mr. Yoweri Museveni, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Mohammed Sidati, delivered a speech in which he expressed the Sahrawi state’s thanks and gratitude to the government and people of Uganda for their principled and firm solidarity with the struggle of the Sahrawi people, appreciating the pivotal role that Uganda plays in defending liberation issues in Africa.

The independence of Uganda, added Mr. Mohammed Sidati, paved the way for it to be a founding member of the Organization of African Unity and to contribute steadily to building a united, free African edifice from expansion and colonialism.
