Bir Lehlou (Sahrawi Republic), October 4, 2023 (SPS)- The President of the Republic and Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, sent a letter of congratulations to his counterpart, the President of the Republic of Botswana, H.E. Mokgweetsi Eric Keabetswe Masisi, on the occasion of the National Day of Botswana.
“On the occasion of the National Day of the Republic of Botswana, it is my honor to convey to your Excellency, on behalf of the people of the Sahrawi Republic and my own, our sincere congratulations and warm wishes for the prosperity of the friendly people of the Republic of Botswana,” said President Ghali in his letter of congratulation.
President Brahim Ghali took this opportunity to express his readiness to join efforts with his counterpart in developing friendly relations between the Sahrawi Republic and the Republic of Botswana.
He also added, “We recognize in Botswana a steadfast friend and big support for our struggle for self-determination and independence, and we highly appreciate the unshakable position of your people and government”.
The President of the Republic concluded by saying, “In honor of our enduring alliance and friendship, I offer my warmest wishes to you and the people of Botswana as you celebrate your National Day”.
