Moscow (Russia) April 12, 2016 (SPS) - Saharawi coordinator with MINURSO, member of the National Secretariat Mr. M'hamed Khadad was received Monday by the head of Centre for Islamic and Arabic Studies at the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Mr. Vasily Kuznetsov accompanied by the Deputy Mr. Nicolai Sukov .
During the meeting, the Saharawi official briefed his interlocutor on the latest developments of Sahrawi issue focusing on the joining of the Polisario Front to the Geneva Convention, and the decision of the European Court last December.
The meeting discussed also Morocco- EU fisheries and agriculture agreements, and the African advisory opinion requesting the respect of human rights in the occupied territories, as well as the condemnation of the Moroccan illegal exploitation of Sahrawi natural resources of the territory.

It worth mentioning here that, the Saharawi Official working visit to Russia will continue until 14 April, where he will hold meetings with important figures, civil society and the Russian media. SPS
