Bir Lahlou (Liberated Territories) 16 September 2019 (SPS) - President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Frente POLISARIO, Mr. Brahim Ghali, has sent a message of felicitation to his Nicaraguan counterpart, Mr. José Daniel Ortega Savedra, on the occasion of the 198th anniversary of his country's independence.
“On behalf of the people and Government of the Sahrawi Republic and on my own behalf, allow me to convey to Your Excellency and to the Government and brotherly people of Nicaragua my sincere congratulations on the 198th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence of Nicaragua, wishing your country further peace, progress and prosperity,” said the president of the Republic.
President Ghali expressed the sincere gratitude of the Sahrawi people to the Government and people of Nicaragua for their support to the right of the Sahrawi people to self-determination and independence.
The President of the Republic also sent similar messages of felicitations to the Presidents of Guatemala, Costa Rica and Honduras on the occasion of the 198th anniversaries of the Independence Day of their respective countries. (SPS)
