Chahid El Hafed (Saharawi Refugee Camps), January 11, 2017 (SPS) - The Saharawi coordinator with the United Nations Mission for the Referendum in Western Sahara (MINURSO), Mr. M'hamed Khadad, stated that the Moroccan expansionist policy is a tragedy that threatened the entire region and prevented the integration and cooperation of the peoples of the Arab Maghreb.

M'hamed Khadad warned in an interview with Saharawi national television on Moroccan maneuvers aimed at destabilizing security and stability in the region with the Moroccan occupant's attempt to join the African Union ignoring the principles and foundations of this continental organization which stipulate respect for the principle of the intangibility of the frontiers inherited from colonialism.

"The Moroccan fallacies and propaganda are nothing more than to cover its resounding failure," adding that "the recent summit in Malabo was a major impact for Morocco, which led it to review all its arguments and approaches to join the African Union.

In the same interview, the Saharawi official, referring to the different achievements of the national cause, addressed the internal catastrophic situation in Morocco, focusing on the latest United Nations report on drugs, making Morocco the first producer and exporter of Hachis in the world, a fact that encourages terrorism and organized crime.
