Maputo (Mozambique), August 25, 2017 (SPS) – Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) has participated in the 6th ministerial meeting of the Tokyo International Conference on African Development held in the Mozambican capital Maputo between 23 and 25 October 2017, The Saharawi Republic was represented by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohamed Salem Uld Salek.

Boumerdes, August 23, 2017 (SPS) - The Saharawi human rights activist Aminatou Haidar hailed on Wednesday in Boumerdes the "unwavering" support of the Algerian people and government for the Saharawi people's struggle for self-determination, saying that this support stems from the principles of the Algerian Revolution, which inspired many colonized peoples.

Tifariti (Liberated Territories), August 23, 2017 (SPS) - The student university "Mártir Mohamed Salem" closed its activities on Monday in the liberated city of Tifariti under the theme "Saharawi youth and students a mobilized force to reinforce the Saharawi People's Liberation Army, "where various student branches from the Saharawi Wilayas took part in this event, as well as a delegation of Saharawi students in Europe and another Saharawi delegation from the occupied territories of Western Sahara.

Algeria, August, 23, 2017 (SPS) - The chief of lawmaker, Jatri Aduh stressed Tuesday that the Western Sahara issue remains the last on the decolonization issues in the African continent and the last African file included in the UN Fourth Committee of decolonization of the continent during interview with Algerian newspaper -El Hiwar-.
In this regard, the cheif of lawmaker, said that the POLISARIO, as the sole and legitimate representative of the Saharawi people, had negotiated in a position of strength while morocco in an weak position.

Havana (Cuba) August 22, 2017 (SPS) - The league of Sahrawi Students in Cuba took part at the festivities of Summer Program for Cuban Youth and Students, which was launched in the Cuban capital of Havana with widespread international participation.
 
The youth camp is organized by the Cuban Institute for Friendship among Peoples in coordination with the Cuban Youth Federation and several student organizations, including the league of Sahrawi Students.
