President of Republic congratulates new Cuban President

Bir Lehlou, April 21, 2018 (SPS) President of the Republic; Secretary-General of the Frente POLISARIO, Ibrahim Ghali, on Friday congratulated Miguel Diaz-Canel on his election as the new President of the Council of State and Council of Ministers of the Republic of Cuba.
In his congratulatory message to the new Cuban president, the President of the Republic confirmed that his election reflected his ability to continue the path set by the leaders of the Cuban Revolution, such as Castro and Raul.

New York (UN), April 21, 2018 (SPS) - The United Nations has emphasized Thursday, in York, that the liberated Sahrawi territories of Bir Lahlou are Tifariti do not fall within the buffer zone of El Guergarat as falsely claimed by Morocco.
"I can say that neither Bir Lahlou nor Tifariti fall within the buffer strip," Stephane Dujarric, the spokesman for the UN secretary General, said in his daily press briefing of April 19.

Specialized Spanish medical team in Sahrawi refugee camps

Madrid, April 19, 2018 (SPS) - A specialized Spanish medical team has just visited the Sahrawi refugee camps to perform surgeries and treat kidney diseases, the Andalusian health service said.
This 19th Andalusian medical mission from this Spanish region will continue until 24 April.
The mission also includes various drugs and equipment necessary for surgeries, added the source.

Polisario Front rejects inclusion of Western Sahara in renegotiation of EU-Morocco Fisheries Agreement

Brussels, April 16, 2018 (SPS) - The Polisario Front condemns the EU Council’s decision on Monday to authorize the European Commission to negotiate an amendment to the EU-Morocco Fisheries Partnership Agreement in order to explicitly include Western Sahara, in violation of the decision of the European Court of Justice (ECJ).
The condemnation was expressed in a communiqué by Polisario Front representative to Brussels.
