Dodoma (Tanzania) 07 December 2022 (SPS) - The President of the Republic and the Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, held a bilateral meeting with the President of the Tanzanian Revolutionary Party and the President of the Federal Republic of Tanzania, Ms. Samia Soloho Hassan, on the sidelines of the 10th Congress of the Chama Cha Mapinduzi Party, held on the 7th and 8th of this month.
During the meeting, the President of the Republic reviewed the developments of the Sahrawi issue, praising the relations between the Polisario Front and the Tanzanian Revolutionary Party, as well as the Sahrawi Republic and the Federal Republic of Tanzania.
President Brahim Ghali highly valued the continuous support and solidarity of the Tanzanian people with their counterpart, the Sahrawi people, in their just struggle.
For her part, Ms. Samia Soloho Hassan, recalled the relations of cooperation and solidarity between the Polisario Front and the Tanzanian Revolutionary Party, expressing her concern about the delay in the decolonization of the last African colony.
The meeting also witnessed the exchanging of symbolic gifts between the Sahrawi President and the President of Tanzania on the occasion of the 10th congress of the party, as step which reflects the depth of the deep-rooted and close relations that extend for many years between the two brotherly countries.
