Shaheed Al Hafedh (refugee camps), 18 September 2022 (SPS) - President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Brahim Ghlai, affirmed Saturday that the Sahrawi cause is experiencing major developments after the resumption of the armed struggle, warning against a Makhzen-Zionist connivance against security and stability in the whole region.
Supervising the installation of the preparatory committee of the 16th Polisario Front Congress, scheduled for December 2022, President Ghali pointed out that the Makhzen and the Zionist entity act in connivance with other sides in order to target not only the Sahrawi people’s legitimate rights to freedom and independence, and also peace and stability in the whole region, including the intensification of the flow of the Moroccan drug to support the organized crime’s gangs.
The Moroccan occupier, added Ghali, increases suspicious alliances to make the Sahrawi resistance give in, by resorting to “conspiracies to sow dissension and target the Polisario Front’s legitimacy and representativeness and the Sahrawi State’s position in Africa and the world,” he warned.
While referring to the 16th Polisario Front Congress that will be held before the end of 2022, Ghali said that it is an important phase in the struggle of the Sahrawi people for freedom.
