Mauritanian delegation participated in Arab International Conference for Solidarity with Sahrawi People promises to consolidate bonds of brotherhood and friendship (message)

Nouakchott, 6 March 2022 (AP) - The Mauritanian delegation that participated in the Arab International Symposium for Solidarity with the Sahrawi people sent a letter of thanks and gratitude to the Sahrawi people, leadership and people, in which they promised to strengthen and consolidate the bonds of brotherhood and friendship between the two brotherly Sahrawi and Mauritanian peoples.
The message of the Mauritanian delegation stated, "We in the Mauritanian delegation that participated in the Arab International Conference of Solidarity with the Sahrawi People organized in February 2022, declare with pride our gratitude to the Sahrawi state and people for the care and hospitality that we were given during our stay among our Sahrawi brothers.”
The message added, "As we arrive in Nouakchott, we have left our dear loved ones, who have spared no effort to make our visit a success, we call on them and promise them that the Mauritanian-Sahrawi brotherhood and friendship will be strengthened and consolidated in the future, for the sincerity and will of the officials, decision makers and citizens of the two countries".
The Arab International Solidarity Conference with the Sahrawi people was organized in the Sahrawi refugee camps on 23 - 24 February, under the theme "Challenges and Prospects", with the participation of human rights defenders, politicians, researchers and media from Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Mauritania, Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon, Palestine, Yemen and Sudan.
