Shaheed Al-Hafed, 17 November 2021 (SPS) - The Polisario Front has denounced the silence of the international community in the face of Morocco’s repeated abuses against Sahrawi citizens in the occupied territories, and expressed its support and solidarity with activist Sultana Khaya and her family.
"The Polisario denounces the silence of the international community and its bodies, particularly the United Nations (UN), in the face of repeated abuses by Morocco against unarmed Sahrawi citizens in the occupied territories of Western Sahara," said a statement issued ahead of the meeting of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front held Monday under the chairmanship of Sahrawi President Brahim Ghali.
Hailing "the resistance of the Sahrawi people against the tyranny of the Moroccan occupation," the Polisario Front expressed its solidarity with the family of the activist Sultana Khaya and all Sahrawi civilian detainees imprisoned in Moroccan jails.
The meeting focused on the latest developments of the Sahrawi issue.
In addition, the Permanent Bureau of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front welcomed the determination of "the Sahrawi Army and the firm will of the Sahrawi people to continue the struggle, by all means, until the recovery of the sovereignty of the Sahrawi state over all the territories of the country.”
