Sultana Jaya holds the international community responsible of Moroccan occupier violations

Submitted on

Bojador, May 18, 2021 (SPS) - The president of the Saharawi League for the Defense of Human Rights and the Protection of Natural Resources, Sultana Sidi Brahim Jaya, held the international community responsible for the serious violations committed against her by Moroccan occupiers who besiege it by force in the occupied city of Bojador.
In a message addressed to various UN human rights organizations illustrated with photos, the activist reviewed the violations to which she and her family have been exposed since the first day of their house arrest, as a sign of retaliation for their political positions and their struggle on the ground for the freedom of the Saharawi people.
The violation of our dignity is contrary to the content of the normative texts, to cite only the Geneva Accords N 4 -article 27-, the additional protocol N 1 -article 76-, and N 2 -article 4- or the agreed laws applied in armed conflicts.
Failure to do so would mean a failure of all the organizations involved and, consequently, the beginning of very worrying scenarios that are incompatible with the role of the United Nations in preserving peace and security. SPS
