President of Republic holds Moroccan state responsible for lives of Sahrawi civilian prisoners

Shaheed Al-Hafed, 30 March 2020 (SPS) - The President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, has held the Moroccan state fully responsible for the lives of the Sahrawi civilian prisoners in Moroccan prisons, especially with the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic.
"While Sahrawi civilian prisoners continue to suffer from unjust detention and the risk of contracting the Coronavirus, we hold the Moroccan occupation state fully responsible for their lives," President Brahim Ghali said at a meeting held Monday on the current situation and its developments.
The President of the Republic called on the United Nations and international human rights organizations to intervene to free them as soon as possible.
He pointed out that the Sahrawi people, who is suffering from the injustice of the Moroccan occupation and harsh conditions, were facing this pandemic, which was ravaging the world, consciously and responsibly.
In this context, the President of the Republic saluted the masses of the Sahrawi people in the occupied territories and southern Morocco, reiterating solidarity and support to them, while they resist the occupation and its tyranny, they encounter at the same time this pandemic with caution. (SPS)
