Algiers, 12 August 2018 (SPS) – Secretary General of Algerian National Alliance Party, Belkacem Sahli, has reiterated his party's unconditional support for the Sahrawi people's right to self-determination and independence, during a special reception to Ambassador to Algeria Abdelkader Taleb-Omar.
Mr. Sahli stressed the need to find a solution to the Sahrawi issue in line with the principles of the United Nations and international law, calling on international organizations to intensify efforts to achieve this goal, taking into account the right of the Sahrawi people to self-determination and independence.
For his part, the Sahrawi ambassador paid tribute to the position of the Algerian National Republican Alliance Party, which is Algeria's position in general towards the Sahrawi issue, pointing out that the two countries are united by common struggle and action in order for the region to live in peace and freedom.
