Italian Murlo city Mayor organizes a concert in honor of Sahrawi children

Murlo (Toscana) (Italy), July 25, 2018 (SPS) - The Mayor of the Italian city of Murlo in the region of Tuscany on Monday organized,  a concert in honor of the Sahrawi children who are in this city in the framework of the Vacations in Peace Program, small Saharawi peace ambassadors with the presence of Italian children from this city.
During the ceremony, attended by Italian children, the Mayor of this city gave the Saharan children the honorable citizenship.
On the occasion of the presence of the small Saharawi peace ambassadors, the mayor of this city organized a series of cultural, artistic and solidarity activities with the just cause of the Saharawi people attended by different musical groups and artists of the city as well as a great number of political personalities in solidarity with the struggle of the Saharawi people, welcoming families and residents of this city. The Saharawi Delegate in Tuscany Mr. Jandud Hamdi also attended the ceremony.
In this cultural activity, several songs from different countries were sung, among them those from Western Sahara where the Sahrawi small peace ambassadors had the opportunity to represent their struggling people and their State, the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic.
At the end of this ceremony, the Mayor of Murlo thanked the small ambassadors of Saharawi peace for the special representation they offered in this act representing their people. He also reaffirmed the firm support and solidarity of his municipality with the just cause of the Saharawi people and said, "your presence here encourages us more and opens new paths in solidarity, cooperation and friendship with the struggle of the Saharawi people to achieve their self-determination. and independence. "
