Vienna, June 17, 2018 (SPS) - Representative of the Polisario Front in Austria, Mohamed El Mamun, has participated as a guest in the Congress of the Austrian Trade Union Federation together with ambassadors accredited in Vienna and more than 52 delegations representing unions from Europe, America and Africa, according to press release of the Polisario Front representation in Austria.
The Congress took place from June 12 to 14 in Vienna with more than 1,000 delegates. The President of the Republic, the President of the Parliament and the Mayor of Vienna also attended the congress among other personalities. The Saharawi representative had the opportunity to greet these 3 personalities and have contacts with numerous European delegations and representatives of Cuba and Brazil.
According to the same source, after the contacts with these delegations, all of them have expressed their solidarity and support to the Saharawi people, as well as their support to the direct negotiations between Morocco and the Polisario Front. (SPS)
