Chahid El Hafed (Sahrawi Refugee Camps)- May 16, 2018 (SPS) - The Frente POLISARIO strongly condemned Monday the Moroccan irresponsible, shameless and false allegations which show “Morocco’s attempts to shirk the implementation of the decision of the Security Council 2414 to continue direct negotiations between the two sides (Frente POLISARIO and Morocco).
In a statement published Monday by the Information Ministry, the Frente POLISARIO “condemns the Moroccan irresponsible, shameless and false allegations,” adding that “these acts show once again the attempts of the Moroccan occupying State aimed at shirking the implementation of the decision of the Security Council 2414 concerning the continuation of direct negotiations between the two sides (Frente POLISARIO -Morocco), without prerequisites and in good faith, to reach a fair and lasting solution guaranteeing the inalienable right of the Sahrawi people to self-determination and independence.”
The Frente POLISARIO called the Security Council “to rapidly intervene” to face the upsurge of these thoughtless declarations and attitudes which show the willingness and determination of the Moroccan occupier to thwart the peace process under the aegis of the United Nations in Western Sahara, said the communiqué.
“By insisting on its campaign of disinformation, the Moroccan occupying State aims at hindering the efforts of the personal envoy of the United Nations Secretary General in Western Sahara, flouting the African Union’s constitutive law and its decisions,” underlined the Frente POLISARIO.
