Wilaya de Smara, Feb 27, 2018 (SPS) - The President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Frente POLISARIO, Mr. Brahim Ghali, praised the steadfastness of the masses of the occupied territories, southern Morocco and the university sites that today reflect their struggles, sacrifices and courageous resistance.
In his speech during the celebration of the 42nd anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic, President Ghali greeted the Saharawi masses in the occupied territories, southern Morocco and the university sites that never ceased to make wonderful chapters of peaceful resistance in the face of repression, brutality and the siege of the Moroccan occupation state.
"We warn the United Nations and the world of the consequences of the dangerous policies pursued by the Moroccan occupation state against the defenseless Saharawi citizens in general, and human rights activists and political prisoners in particular," he added.
President Gali reiterated that these policies warn of a new chapter in the systematic genocide that Morocco has committed since the military invasion of our country on October 31, 1975, especially in view of the deplorable situation of political detainees due to conditions of detention, torture, harassment and neglect.SPS
