Bir Lehlou, Oct 23, 2017 (SPS) - President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Brahim Ghali, has sent a congratulatory message to President of the Republic of Zambia, H.E. Mr Edgar Lungu, on the occasion of the Independence Day.
“On behalf of the Government and people of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, I would like to extend to your Excellency and to the brotherly people of the Republic of Zambia our most sincere congratulations and best wishes as you celebrate your Independence Day,” said the President of the Republic in his message.
“The Republic of Zambia has always been a staunch supporter of the liberation struggle of the Sahrawi people for their self-determination and independence, and we remain grateful for this principled position of support and solidarity.”
“I would like to take this august occasion to renew to your Excellency our strong resolve to further consolidate and diversify the strong bonds of friendship and cooperation already existing between our two nations, and to boost them to the highest possible level in the interests of our brotherly peoples and the peoples of our continent,” added the President of the Republic in his message to his Zambian counterpart.
