El-Auiun (Occupied Territories), 24 March 2017 (SPS) - Moroccan forces intervened violently Thursday against dozens of unemployed Sahrawis, under the banner of Coordination of Unemployed Sahrawis, who peacefully protested inside a bus to demand their legitimate rights to direct employment and decent living.
The Moroccan forces used stones and water cannons against them and smashed the glass of the bus, which resulted in various injuries among the unemployed Sahrawi protesters.
The health situation of dozens of the unemployed Sahrawi protesters remains unknown as a result of the siege imposed by the Moroccan forces on the sit-in place. (SPS)
