Havana (Cuba) November 30, 2016 (SPS) - The Minister of Foreign, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Salek affirmed Tuesday, in Havana, that the leader of the Cuban Revolution Fidel Castro, died on Friday, will remain “a legend and an example for the new generations, drawing from his thought the foundations of a world of justice, dignity and freedom.”
In his funeral oration, Ould Salek who was representing the President of the Republic, Secretary General of Front Polisario Brahim Gali in the funeral of the Cuban leader Fidel Castro which took place Tuesday in Havana, said that “Fidel Castro will remain a leader even after his death, as he is a legend and an example for the new generations who will draw from his thought the foundations of a world of justice, dignity and freedom, and from his struggle the values of sacrifice, loyalty and probity.”
Ould Salek extended to the Cuban government and people the heartfelt condolences of President of the Republic and Sahrawi government and people following the “death of an iconic figure of the history of Cuba, the island of freedom,” expressing SADR’s full solidarity and compassion to Cuba “on this painful ordeal.”SPS
