Chahid EL-Hafed (Saharawi refugee camps), June 23, 2016 (SPS) -The President of the Republic and Interim Secretary of the Frente POLISARIO, Mr. Khatri Adduh, oversaw today at the headquarters of the presidency, the appointment of members the Constitutional Council, in the presence of members of the National Secretariat, the Parliament, the government and the Liberation Army.
In his address to the attendee, the President of the Republic said: "This appointment comes as part of the strategy of the Fourteenth Congress of the Frente POLISARIO and in compliance with the building of the institutions of the Saharawi State".
Mr. Adduh also added that "the Saharawi state is founded on a constitution and laws that guarantee the rights of the Saharawi people and their aspirations to freedom, independence and a dignified life."
For its part, the Chairman of the Constitutional Council, Mr. Mohamed Buzeid, reaffirmed "the determination of the members of the Council to respect the laws and the Constitution, according to the powers which are conferred on it to serve the interests and institutions Saharawi state."SPS
