Algiers- President of Algeria Abdelaziz Bouteflika received Sunday in Algiers United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, who is on an official visit to Algeria.
The audience took place in the presence of Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal, Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Ramtane Lamamra and Minister of Maghreb Affairs, African Union and Arab League Abdelkader Messahel.
The UN secretary general arrived Saturday evening in Algiers as part of a tour across the region, with a view to resetting negotiations for the settlement of Western Sahara issue between the Polisario Front and Morocco. (SPS)
