Madrid, February 23, 2016 (SPS) -The Spanish Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Ignacio Ybáñez expressed Monday during his reception to Mr. Christopher Ross, that Spain supports a just, lasting and mutually acceptable political solution which provides self-determination for the Saharawi people, according to the Spanish news agency EFE.
According to a statement from the Spanish Foreign Ministry, quoted by EFE, Ignacio Ybáñez, in his meeting with Ross has stressed the "priority" of Spain in search for a just, lasting and mutually acceptable political solution that provides self-determination to the people Sahrawi, "within the framework of the provisions in line with the principles and purposes of the UN Charter."
The Spanish diplomat reiterated Spain's commitment "in support the facilitation efforts of the United Nations" and confirmed to Ross, the Spanish political, humanitarian and logistical aid for the Western Sahara. SPS
