Bir-Lehlou (refugee camps), Feb 20, 2016 (SPS) The President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Mohamed Abdelaziz, sent a letter of condolences to his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, following the death of former Secretary-General of the United Nations, Boutros Boutros-Ghali.
The Saharawi president expressed his deep condolences to his Egyptian counterpart, the family of the deceased and the Egyptian people.
He recalled the efforts made by Boutros Ghali to reach a definitive solution to the Western Sahara conflict through the organization of a referendum for the Sahrawi people, when he was the Secretary-General of the United Nations. (SPS)
