African youth calls continent's leaders to complete decolonization of Western Sahara

Addis Ababa (Ethiopia) January 29, 2016 (SPS) - The 5th Intergenerational Dialogue concluded Thursday night in Addis Ababa and approved recommendations calling African leaders to make further move to complete the decolonization of Western Sahara.

 

Sahrawi Youth Union represented youth organizations of North Africa countries and prepared and submitted a detailed report on the state of peace and security in Africa including an urgent appeal to the African leaders to put pressure on Morocco to accept a referendum on self-determination in Western Sahara, drawing attention to the ongoing human rights violations in the occupied territories of Western Sahara.

 


Young Sahrawi Habib Mohamed Abdelaziz participated, representing Sahrawi Youth Union, in the works of the 5th Intergenerational Dialogue devoted to issues relating to youth's problems and concerns in Africa. (SPS)
