Algiers, December 28, 2015 (SPS) - President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Mohamed Abdelaziz, received a message from President of Algeria Abdelaziz Bouteflika, congratulating him on his re-election as the Secretary General of the Polisario Front, and reiterated Algeria's unchanging position on the Sahrawi cause.
"Your re-election is renewed the confidence of the Sahrawi people in you, a acknowledgment of your rich experience and your relentless efforts for the just cause of your people," said President Bouteflika in his message.
"I would like to offer my sincere congratulations to the Polisario Front for the outstanding results of its 14th Congress as well as to the Sahrawi people for their unity under their legitimate leader for the recovery of their right to self-determination," he added.
"I seize this opportunity to reiterate Algeria's unwavering position and unfailing support to the liberation movements around the world. I would like also to reaffirm our steadfast support to the Sahrawi people, who have close brotherly relations with the Algerian people," said the Head of State. (SPS)
