Dakhla (Refugee Camps), December 21, 2015 (SPS) - The participants, in the 14 th Congress of the Polisario Front, voted Sunday evening unanimously on proposal of the presidency of the congress to form a committee that would organize the election of members of the National Secretariat of Polisario Front and its Secretary General, chaired by the Representative of the Polisario Front in Spain, Mr. Hamoudi Bushraya beyoun.
The committee includes 85 members, representing the Saharawi social components of notables, youth, women and lawyers.
The committee will examine the legal regulations for the elections and distribute its members on the electoral offices that submit its proposal of work to the congress for approval before the start of the electoral process.
The electoral process will be conducted in two stages, the first stage is the election of the Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, and the second stage is the election of the members of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front. (SPS)
