Dakhla (refugee camps), December 19, 2015 (SPS) - A delegation from the Federal Republic of Russia is taking part in the work of the XIV Congress of the POLISARIO Front.
The Russian delegation, which is the first to participate in a POLISARIO Front congress, is led by Political Analyst Dr. Said Govorov along with the Professor of the University of St. Petersburg, Mr. Igor Mitrosov.
The President of the delegation who visits the Saharawi camps for the first time has expressed solidarity with the Saharawi cause and support to the right of the Sahrawi people to self-determination and independence.
The Russian delegation held a meeting with the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Salek, on the sidelines of the Congress sessions, and discussed with the head of the Saharawi diplomacy means to boost efforts to publicize the Sahrawi issue, particularly in the Russian media. (SPS)
