Dakhla (Refugee Camps) December 19, 2015 (SPS) - The Italian Communist Party sent a letter to the 14th Congress of the Frente POLISARIO, reaffirming the party's secretariat support to the Saharawi people's struggle for their right to self-determination and independence.
The Communist Party considered in its letter that "the open and democratic experience of the Frente POLISARIO can be real and valid contribution in the fight against extremism and terrorism"
The letter further stated, "The Italian Communists has always taken the initiative to promote dialogue and cooperation based on their conviction that the unity of the anti-imperialist left-wing forces is an important element in defeating colonial domination projects."
The Conference also received several other messages from political entities and personalities in Italy, among them the Italian General Confederation of Labor, "5 stars" party, the parliamentary group of Italian brotherhood and National Alliance. (SPS)
