DAKHLA (refugee Camps), December 18, 2015 (SPS) - Algerian MPs met Friday, on the sidelines of the third day of the 14th Polisario Front Congress in the Saharawi refugee camp of Dakhla, a delegation of Saharawi participants from the occupied territories, made up of activists and lawyers.

The meeting was attended by the chairman of Algerian Parliament committee on Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Emigration, Noureddine Benmeddah, deputy chairman of the Parliamentary group for Fraternity and Friendship with the Saharawi People, Houria Rachid, and MP Moussaoudja Mohamed.

"We have met a large delegation from the occupied Saharawi territories, composed mainly of activists, lawyers and victims of forced disappearance," Houria Rachid told APS.

"We have listened at length to their stories, and we were terrified by the seriousness of Moroccan occupation forces' human rights abuses in the (occupied) territories."

"We reiterate our unconditional support to Saharawi people in their struggle for independence and their right to self-determination," she said. (SPS)
