Several foreign delegations reaffirm their full support to Sahrawi cause

Dakhla (Refugee Camps), December 17, 2015 (SPS) - The representatives of several delegations participating in the 14th Polisario Front Congress affirmed on the second day of this meeting which is being held in Dakhla, their full solidarity and full support to the Sahrawi cause.

 

Director of African Affairs at Nigerian Foreign Affairs Ministry Rabio Akao expressed on behalf of the federal State of Nigeria its full support to the struggle of the Sahrawi people for its independence.

 

The Nigerian official said that the decolonization issue was a fundamental principle in Nigeria’s foreign policy, underlining that his country’s government would like to reaffirm its unwavering position to the struggle of the Sahrawi people. He called all the countries to support this cause.

 

President of the Coordination of European Committees and Associations for Support of the People of Western Sahara (EUCOCO) Pierre Galand said that the representatives of France, Spain, Italy and Belgium, participating in this meeting, will convey the message of the participants at the congress and their governments, particularly after enquiring about the deplorable situation of the Sahrawi people.

 

The representative of the Cuban communist party addressed a message of support, on behalf of leader Fidel Castro and Commander Raoul Garcia, to the struggle of the Sahrawi people and leaders of the Polisario Front.

 

For his part, Secretary General of the Ghanaian National Democratic Congress said that he was delighted to participate in this meeting, an opportunity, according to him, to reaffirm the solidarity of his country with the Sahrawi people. (SPS)
