Algiers, 23 Nov 2015 (SPS) - President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Mohamed Abdelaziz, was received Sunday by Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika.
The audience was attended by Minister of State, Principal Private Secretary to the Presidency of the Republic Ahmed Ouyahia, Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Ramtane Lamamra, Deputy Minister for National Defence and Chief of Staff of the People's National Army, Lieutenant General Ahmed Gaid Salah, and Minister of Maghreb Affairs, African Union and Arab League Abdelkader Messahel.
The Sahrawi delegation that accompanied the President of the Republic included Coordinator with MINURSO M’hamed Khadad, Ambassador to Algeria Ibrahim Ghali, and Counselor to the Presidency Abdati Breika.
The two sides discussed the bilateral relations between the Sahrawi and Algerian peoples and means to strengthen them, the current situation related to the issue of Western Sahara, and other regional, continental and international issues of common interest. (SPS)
