Chahid El Hafed(Sahrawi refugee camps) October28, 2015 (SPS)–A French association called on Tuesday, in a written letter, French President Francois Hollande to urgently act to meet the needs of the Sahrawi refugees following an absolute catastrophe caused by bad weather
“Mister President, we ask you to respond urgently to the immediate needs of the disaster’s victims in camps to intercede with the king of Morocco so that finally the rights of Sahrawis to the self-determination are applied and that this conflict ends,” underlined the French association “Tank Trunk for Sahrawis” in its letter, of which a copy was received by the SPS.
The French association, which supports the population in refugee camps and the Sahrawi population notably, drew particular attention of the French President on the tragedy of the Sahrawi refugees following the absolute catastrophe caused by the torrential rains of recent days.
The association dubbed “human disaster” the damages caused by the latest weather.
The French NGO however regretted the hindrances committed by the Moroccan government to impede the international humanitarian aid for Sahrawi refugees. (SPS)
