Algiers, Sept 22, 2015 (SPS) -Algeria and Sao Tome and Principe reaffirmed, Monday in Algiers, their support to the efforts of United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and its personal envoy Christopher Ross, said the joint statement.
"As regards the question of Western Sahara, the two Prime Ministers reaffirmed their support to the efforts of the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and its personal envoy Christopher Ross, to find a mutually acceptable solution, which provides for the self-determination of the people of Western Sahara, in accordance with the resolutions of the UN Security Council and General Assembly," said a joint statement issued at the end of the visit of Prime Minister of Sao Tome and Principe Patrice Emery Trovoada to Algeria.
Trovoada arrived Sunday in Algiers for a two-day visit at the invitation of Prime Minister Abdelamalek Sellal. (SPS)
