Harare (Zimbabwe), 1 Sep. 2015 (SPS) - Zimbabwean Minister of War Veterans Mr. Christopher Mutsvangwa reaffirmed  his country's support for the struggle of the Sahrawi, highlighting that the Republic of Zimbabwe has always been to the side of the Sahrawi people in their struggle for the liberation of their country.

The minister denounced, during a reception to Sahrawi Ambassador Daish Mohamed Saleh, the Moroccan occupation of Western Sahara and deplored the suffering of the Sahrawi people and the inability of the United Nations to allow the Sahrawi people to exercise their right to self-determination through a free and fair referendum, calling on the international community to intensify efforts to put an end to the Moroccan intransigence and accelerate the decolonization of Western Sahara.

For his part, the Sahrawi ambassador informed the minister of the latest developments related to the issue of Western Sahara. (SPS)
