Eit Melloul (Morocco), July 15, 2015 (SPS) - The Saharawi political prisoner, Brahim Al-Buhiti, began an open-ended hunger strike Wednesday in Eit Melloul Prison, Morocco, to demand the improvement of his living condition, said a source of the Ministry of Occupied Territories and Communities Abroad.
The source said the prisoner was subject to torture and degrading treatment of human dignity at the hands of the prison’s officers.
It is to be noted that Brahim Al-Buhiti was arrested on March 18th, 2015 in the city of Guleimim, southern Morocco, on his positions of support to the Frente Polisario and the right of the Saharawi people to self-determination and independence. (SPS)
