Chahid Al Hafed (Saharawi refugee camps) Dec 28, 2014 (SPS)- The works of the specialized seminar of media launched on Sunday morning, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Information under the slogan "full alert to enlighten public opinion" in the presence of Prime Minister Mr. Abdelkader Taleb Omar, members of the National Secretariat and members of the government .
The specialized seminar of media discussed ways to promote media discourse to keep up with national and international developments and the creation of mechanisms to spread it, as well as the role of cooperating partners with the Ministry of Information.
In his speech, The Minister of Information, Mr. Mohamed El Mami considered this seminar as a “real step” to develop and raise the level of Saharawi media performance, felicitating all the journalists of the national radio by the occasion of the 39 years of its establishment.
The Preparatory Committee, during the seminar, presented a set of reports as a platform work on media discourse, technical matters and programs concerning media.
The Specialized seminar granted certificates of appreciation to families of media martyrs, and honoured dedicated journalists.
The seminar issued at the conclusion of its works a final statement for solidarity with all Saharawi political prisoners in Moroccan prisons, expressing unconditional solidarity with them.
The statement issued by the seminar called on all human rights organizations and the international community in all its bodies and institutions to send an international medical mission to view the "serious" situation of Sahrawi political prisoners. (SPS)
