Moroccan authorities prevent peaceful pause in occupied city of El Aaiun

Occupied El Aaiun, Dec 27, 2014 (SPS) - Moroccan occupation authorities prevented last Thursday, a group of Sahrawi mothers from organizing a peaceful pause in front of the Court of Appeal in occupied city of El Aaiun, in order to demand Moroccan state to disclose the fate of their sons abducted since December 25, 2005.

 

Moroccan police violently prevented Saharawi women from reaching the Court of Appeal, assaulting them physically and verbally, without taking into account the feelings of the Saharawi mothers, as nine years has passed on the disappearance of their sons in mysterious circumstances and Moroccan state still refuses to disclose the fate of the abducted sons.

 

The fifteen Saharawi sons have been abducted during a peaceful demonstrations in the occupied city of El Aaiun, demanding for the right of the Saharawi people to self-determination and independence. (SPS)
