Mozambique reiterates unconditional support for struggle of Saharawi people

Maputo (Mozambique), December 9, 2014 (SPS) - The President of the Mozambican Parliament (Assembly of the Republic), Veronica Macamo, reiterated the support of her country to the struggle of the Saharawi people for freedom and independence, following a reception to the Ambassador of the Saharawi Republic in Maputo, Mr. Wadadi Ahmed .


Ms.  Macamo reiterated the commitment of Mozambique to defense, more than ever, the inalienable right of the Saharawi people to self-determination and national independence.


On the other hand, it was decided to send the First Vice President of the Mozambican parliament, to participate in the work of the 5th International Conference on the Right of Peoples to resistance: The case of the Saharawi people, 13-14 December 2014 in Algiers. (SPS)
