Chahid Al Hafed (refugee camps), Dec 3, 2014 (SPS), President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Mohamed Abdelaziz, on Monday sent a message of congratulation to the President-elect of Uruguay, Dr. Tabaré Vazquez, following his victory in the presidential elections that took place Sunday in Uruguay.
“On behalf of the people and government of the Sahrawi Republic and on my own behalf, I am pleased to convey to you my warmest congratulations on your election to the presidency of Uruguay, which, above all, reflects the confidence the brotherly people of Uruguay has bestowed on you,” writes President of the Republic.
President Mohamed Abdelaziz went on saying that Vazquez’s election reflects the broader vision adopted by Frente Amplio to achieve development, progress, democracy and political stability in Uruguay.
He also highlighted the strong bonds of friendship and solidarity happily binding the Saharawi Republic (SADR) and Uruguay. (SPS)
