Chahid Al Hafed (refugee camps), Dec 2, 2014 (SPS) - A delegation of the French Association of Friends of SADR (AARASD) on Sunday arrived in the Saharawi refugee camps, as part of a working visit to assess the educational projects they fund.
The group will visit an educational center which trains future Saharawi teachers of French, established as part of an agreement signed in 2013 between the Saharawi Ministry of Education, Saharawi Association for the Promotion of Cultural Exchange with the French-speaking countries (ASPECF) and AARASD.
In the margin of this four-year program, participating teachers take the advantage of diversified training courses on French language.
At the end of their training, teachers will be able to teach French language in medium schools in the Saharawi refugee camps, so to better prepare Saharawi students to enter Algerian schools where French is taught from the third grade of primary school. (SPS)
