Council of Ministers denounces Morocco’s blockade over occupied territories

Chahid Al Hafed (refugee camps), Dec 2, 2014 (SPS) - The Council of Ministers on Tuesday denounced the blockade imposed by Moroccan occupying state over the occupied territories of Western Sahara, deploring the policies of repression targeting the Saharawis.


In a statement issued at the of a meeting chaired by the President of the Republic Mr. Mohamed Abdelaziz, the Council deplored the fact that foreign journalists, observers and activists are being prevented access into occupied Western Sahara by Moroccan occupying state.


It also denounced Moroccan abusive and systematic practices against innocent Saharawis.


Examining the plan for hosting the friendly delegations coming from Europe and Americas, the statement affirmed the importance of cooperation from the part of all institutions concerned, hosting families and citizens to contribute to the success of the process.


It, on other hand, recorded with satisfaction what has already implemented from the Plan of Alert, approved by the past session of the National Secretariat of the Frente Polisario.


It, in the same regard, urged all Saharawi citizens to mobilize so to put into reality the right of the Saharawi people to freedom and independence. (SPS)
