Submitted on

Lima (Peru), Nov 29, 2014, (SPS) – the Peruvian Council of Solidarity with the Saharawi people has criticized the convening of the world Forum for Human Rights in Morocco, which is condemned by all human rights organizations in the world, because of human rights systematic violations and the use of torture.

The Council said in a statement on Friday that convening such event in Moroccan is “an irony of International Community”, as most of human rights defence organizations called for boycotting the Forum and most of the participating institutions has reduced their presence.

The Peruvian Council of Solidarity with the Saharawi people, has also stressed that the King of Morocco bribed some human rights organizations, in order to give a good impression about Rabat in protecting human rights and to polish the dirty image of Moroccan human rights violation. (SPS)
