African meeting on International March of Women devotes February 18th solidarity day with Saharawi women

Johannesburg (South Africa) November 22, 2014 (SPS) – The African meeting on International march of Women held Johannesburg, South Africa, November 18-19, devoted February 18th, a day of solidarity with the Sahrawi women.

 

 The meeting issued a motion of solidarity with the Saharawi women in their legitimate right to self-determination, as well as planting a tree by Kenyan women on this day named “liberty tree for Sahrawi women.

 

The meeting was marked by intervention of Sahrawi women attended by media, where the situation of the Sahrawi women was addressed as well as their struggle and construction of institutions of the Sahrawi state in the fields of health, education and governance. (SPS)
