Submitted on

Boujdour (Occupied Territories), November 17, 2014 (SPS) - Many Saharawi demonstrators called Saturday in the occupied city of Boujdour for departure of the Cosmos energy company all other foreign companies involved through illegal contracts with the Moroccan occupier in the plundering of natural resources of the Saharawi people.

They condemned the presence of the Cosmos energy company, noting that it is a violation of international law in a territory under the responsibility of the United Nations pending decolonization through a democratic and fair referendum to allow the Saharawis people to speak freely about their future.

In addition,a patrol of the Moroccan police abducted Sahrawi human rights activist Hamza al-Ansari, who was tortured, stripped of his clothes and threatened to with rape and publishing his photos on the internet before he was abandoned outside of the city in a "deplorable" situation.

The Sahrawi human rights activists have become the target of Moroccan repression, to terrorize the Sahrawi civilians and prevent them from expressing their positions in favor of the freedom and independence of Western Sahara. (SPS)
