Madrid (SPAIN), November 16, 2014 (SPS) - The American Foundation ''Robert F. Kennedy for Justice and Human Rights” (R.F Kennedy Center) will present in the coming months a new report on the situation of human rights in Western Sahara, said Saturday in Madrid the representative of the NGO in the 39th European Conference for coordination of support and solidarity with the Saharawi people (EUCOCO).
The representative also denounced the "continuing violations of human rights and abuses by the Moroccan occupier against the Saharawi population with impunity," regretting the lack of a mechanism for human rights monitoring in the occupied territories of Western Sahara.
The American NGO representative called to do "everything possible for better awareness to change this situation and protect the rights of the Sahrawi people." (SPS)
