Algiers, November 14, 2014 (SPS) - Algerian National People's Assembly (Lower House of Parliament) will partake in 14 and 15 November in Madrid (Spain) in the 39th European Conference for coordination of support and solidarity with the Saharawi people (EUCOCO), said Thursday a statement of the lower house of parliament .
The conference will provide a forum for dialogue on solidarity with the Saharawi people in Spain and other countries of the world, the source added.
The Lower House will be represented at this meeting by President of the Algerian-Sahrawi Friendship Group, Saida Brahim Bounab and chairman of the parliamentary group of the Green Algeria Alliance (AAV), Filali Ghouini.
The works will focus on the following topics: human rights, media, natural resources, women and youth, culture and sports, as well as mine victims.
The Madrid edition will review the assessment of the activities of the past year and define the strategy for enforcing human rights in Western Sahara in accordance with UN decisions. (SPS)
