Saharawi parliamentary delegation inspects representations in Europe

Spain, Oct 27, 2014 (SPS) - A delegation of the Saharawi National Council (Parliament) is now making an inspection visit to various Polisario Front’s representations in Europe, as part of the evaluation of the Government Programme for the year 2014.


The aim through this inspection process is to assess what has already been achieved of the 2014 Government Programme, and to take down the concerns and proposals so to preparing the next Government’s Programme.


The delegation, in this regard, examined the relations between Saharawi offices and solidarity associations, humanitarian aid for Saharawi refugees and the problems facing the Saharawi community residing in Europe.


In Spain, the delegation inspected Polisario Front’s offices in Basque Country, Asturias, La Rioja, Zaragoza, Castilla-La Mancha, Andalusia, Extremadura, Murcia and Alicante.


In France, they visited the cities of Mantes-la-Jolie, Mirox, Toulouse and Nantes.


They also inspected Polisario Front’s offices in Rome and Geneva.


The delegation is composed of Salek Mohamed Al-Mahdi, chair of social committee, Jadu Bachir Al-Haj, chair of political affairs committee, Mahfud Salama, chair of economic committee, in addition to the following members of Parliament; Hartan Mohamed El-Hafed, Warda Hamudi and Al-Gaed Ahbad. (SPS)
