Wilaya of Smara (Refugee Camps), September 6, 2014 (SPS) - The Ministry of Education has held Saturday the national conference on learning progress which coincides with the opening of the school year 2014-2015 under the theme “Upbringing of children on the path of heroes”.
In her opening speech, the Minister of Education, Mariem Salek, highlighted the special importance paid by the Sahrawi government to the field of education and the considerable efforts to improve learning and bring up the children on the path of the 20 May revolution heroes.
The conference which lasts for two days, is attended by directors of educational institutions, inspectors and professors and discusses topics related to the educational system.
The opening of the conference was attended by the Prime Minister, Abd-el-Kader Taleb Omar, and members of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front, Government and National Council, in addition to foreign collaborators and Algerian AFAD association. (SPS)
